Go Behind the Glitz and Glamour at Nevada State Museum
The 41st state in the nation gets the historical treatment at Nevada State Muesum, a museum dedicated to the history of Nevada and a side that many Las Vegas visitor often don’t get chance to see. Charting the evolution of the state from beginning to present day, via nuclear testing, deserts and dinosaurs that were said to roam the land, there are many galleries and displays that help to paint a bigger picture of Nevada than Las Vegas alone. Of course, Las Vegas casinos and resorts are covered but there’s also native American baskets, fossils, photos from nuclear testing and the Las Vegas mob. Open Weds – Saturday from 9am.
