From dinosaurs to deserts via sea creatures and snakes, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum brings mother nature’s story to life. There are over half a dozen exhibits, each of which are housed in a dedicated facility on the intersection of the Strip and Washington Avenue.
Intended to be fun and educational, the museum is sure to be a hit with kids as the child friendly displays both fascinate and repel – such as the collection of drinks cans, shoe, full bottle of wine and other detritus found in the bellies of sharks as well as a huge aquarium where the fearsome fishes bump fins with stingrays, eels and other sea creatures.
Once of the most popular displays is the dinosaur exhibit which features actual fossils, dinosaur eggs and life size replicas.
The museum is open daily.
